Coaching FAQ's
(Frequently Asked Questions)

Q.  How do I become a soccer coach for my child's team?

A. Go to online registration and register as a volunteer.

Q.  Where can I get information about teaching skills and techniques of soccer?

A. Basic information for new coaches is available on this web site, under "Coaching" and "Coaching Clinics".

Coaching at higher levels you should consider obtaining an "E License".  If you are serious about coaching after the kids are 12, we would recommend a "D License".  All of the information learned in these clinics helps to lead great, fun and interesting practices to keep the players excited about soccer and learning to be better players.

The Camas and Washougal Libraries great training videos and books.

The Camas Washougal Soccer Club has a lending library of videos and manual located at Dr. Hagen's office located on the same street as the Camas Post Office, just to the west on the North side of the street.

Go to the Quick Links section of this web site and click on the Washington State Youth Soccer web site, and check out articles and info there.  Also check out the Oregon Youth Soccer web site for the same.
